De Zesde Noelanders Trofee komt snel dichterbij. Bonsai Association Belgium nodigt U van harte uit om deel te nemen aan onze jaarlijkse internationale tentoonstelling. Hieronder vind U het programma en in bijlage vind U een inschrijvingsformulier zodat U met één of meerdere bonsai kan deelnemen aan de jaarlijkse wedstrijd (Trophy VI 2005 BAB inschrijving NL.doc).

Mogen we U vragen dit bericht naar zo veel mogelijk geïnteresseerden door te sturen.

The sixth Noelanders Trophy is approaching quickly. Bonsai Association Belgium kindly invites you to attend our yearly international exhibition. Graham Potter

Zijn eerste contact met bonsai was in begin jaren negentig. In 1999 leerde hij Kevin Wilson kennen en van toen werd bonsai een passie. Zijn bonsai zijn meestal gekenmerkt door uitgeholde stammen en dood hout. Heden ten dage baat hij een bonsaizaak uit in Engeland.

In the early nineties he came into contact with bonsai. In 1999 he met Kevin Wilson and bonsai became a passion. His bonsai are characterized by lots of deeply carved shari and dead wood. He runs his own bonsai business in England.

Salvatore Liporace

Hij is een professionele bonsaiartiest met wereldnaam. Heel de wereld reist hij rond voor workshops en demonstraties. Meerdere artikels in internationale vakbladen worden door hem verzorgd. Hij is de bezitter van ‘Studio Botanica’ in Milaan, de plaats voor workshops en bonsai-scholing.

He is a world wide professional bonsai artist. He gives workshops and demonstrations in every country. He has written several articles and columns in international journals. He is the owner of ‘Studio Botanica’ in Milan, Italy, where he gives bonsai courses and workshops.

Vaclav Novak

Hij is sinds 1990 beroepsmatig met bonsai bezig. Hij reist heel Europa rond om lezingen en workshops te geven. Zijn bonsai worden vaak tentoongesteld op congressen. Hij is voorzitter van de Tsjechische bonsaiclub en heeft zijn eigen bonsaistudio.

He has been a bonsai professional for almost 15 years. He has travelled all over Europe to give demonstrations and lectures. His bonsai can regularly be seen at congresses and exhibitions. He is president of the Tsjech Bonsai Club and runs his own bonsai studio.

Danny Use

Zijn eerste bonsai experimenten vonden plaats op 21 jarige leeftijd. Hij is een van de grote namen in de Europese bonsaiscene. Hij is eigenaar van het wereldbekende ‘Ginkgo Bonsai Center’, en grondlegger van de ‘Kei Bonsai Kai’ die opgericht werd in 1982. In 1997 vond de eerste internationale tentoonstelling ‘Ginkgo Award’ plaats.

He was only 21 years old when he first experimented with bonsai. He is one of the big names of the european bonsai scene. He is the owner of the well known ‘Ginkgo Bonsai Centre’ and founder / president of the ‘Kei Bonsai Kai’, founded in 1982. In 1997 he organized the first ‘Ginkgo Award’, a bi-annual event visited by thousands of people.

Roadmap, if you come from far away.

Heusden-Zolder is close to highway E314/A2 from Brussels to Aachen.

The exits are counting up from Brussels to Aachen.

You have to take exit number 28 'Zolder'.

If you come from the highway, take direction Heusden-Zolder and Beringen. There will be marks ‘BONSAI’ already near the exit.

A few hundred meters further you find a round-about, but you have to continue straight on.

About 2 km further there are the first cross lights that you encounter.

There you go to your right (Bieststraat, direction to the centre of Zolder). You have to follow this way, even beyond another roundabout, for about another 2 km.

After this second roundabout, the name of the street changes to Ringlaan.

A little bit further there is on your right side a little castle ('t Kuipke).

A few hundred meters further also on your right side, you will find the 'Cultureel Centrum', of which you can only see the parking place and the back side. The front is located at another street parallel to the Ringlaan, named Dekenstraat 40.
